We understand the importance of a college degree and honoring your commitment to your college rodeo team. For this reason, we have created an opportunity for you to be a part of the United States Rodeo League while maintaining your college team requirements.
Frequently asked questions
How can I do both?
Our season includes 20 events between January and October. If you are on a college rodeo team, we will only require you to attend 10 of those events. This provides you the flexibility to honor your college rodeo events while attending the USRL events on your off weekends.
Will I still go through the draft?
Yes. During the registration process, we will ask whether you will be a full time or part time athlete.
What's the salary for part time athletes?
All salary contracts are the same for full time and part time. Your contract will include a "Part Time" stipulation regarding being paid only for the events you attend.
Can I switch from part time to full time during the season?
No.
